Caritas Jerusalem staff from Gaza visiting Jerusalem for a day

Today members of Caritas Jerusalem from Gaza were able to visit Jerusalem after receiving permits allowing them to exit Gaza. For some, it was their first time visiting Jerusalem.
The group met with their colleagues at Caritas Jerusalem headquarters afterwhich they visited the Holy Sepulcure Church and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem were they were welcomed by His Beatitude Patriarch, Mgr Pierbattista Pizzaballa, who is the president of Caritas Jerusalem, where they discussed the important support provided by the Patriarchate to the Christian community in Gaza.
After their meeting they explored the streets of the old city then returned safely back to Gaza.
