Many people today are trying to find ways to earn a stable source of income despite the hard circumstances. The Family to Family and Economic Empowerment project, implemented by Caritas Jerusalem in cooperation with Caritas Poland, was created to help families and support individuals start their own small businesses, strengthen their livelihoods, and move forward.

Through the Family to Family initiative, 215 families in Gaza received financial assistance to help them face the ongoing humanitarian situation. In the West Bank, the Economic Empowerment initiative focused on supporting women and youth, where 25 beneficiaries received training together with the equipment, goods, and basic supplies they needed to start their own businesses, and build a good source of income for themselves and their families. For many of them, it was a real step toward improving their daily lives. But many others are still hoping for the same opportunity. 

The project reflects the mission of Caritas Jerusalem to stand beside vulnerable communities and support dignified livelihoods. Through such efforts, they continue their commitment to helping individuals and families build a more stable future and enhanced economic resilience in the face of ongoing challenges.
