Caritas Jerusalem’s Continued Commitment to Polio Vaccination in Gaza

Caritas Jerusalem is proud to announce its ongoing participation in the second phase of the polio vaccination campaign in Gaza, further demonstrating our commitment to the health of children in the region. Recently, our clinics in Deir Al Balah served as vital venues for the World Health Organization (WHO) to administer complementary polio vaccinations to children under the age of 10.

Just a few days ago, the WHO teams successfully vaccinated 2,327 children at our Caritas Jerusalem medical point. In addition to the polio vaccine, these teams also provided essential vitamin A and E supplements, ensuring a comprehensive approach to child health during this critical time.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the next phase of the vaccination campaign will take place from October 19th to 24th on Al Birkeh Street.

Caritas Jerusalem remains steadfast in its partnership with the WHO and the local health authorities, working tirelessly to protect the health and well-being of the community. Together, we strive for a healthier future for all children in Gaza.
