In 2008, Caritas Jerusalem started implementing the " Partial School Fees for Students of the Province of Bethlehem" project.

This year, 520 students enrolled in 20 schools in Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and Beit Sahour will benefit from the program. Belen 2000 is funding this endeavor, where Chile's Palestinian community contribute the donated student fees. Five of the benefitting schools are for persons with disabilities or learning impairments.
