Caritas Jerusalem, represented by the Head of the Development Department and the coordinator of development projects, within the campaign to promote and support the tourism sector and the promotional electronic platform project for the joint communities of Marj Ibn Amer, Burqin and Zababdeh, made several visits, with the participation of a delegation from Jenin governorate represented by Rabie Yassin, coordinator of the Tourism Promotion Committee in Jenin Governorate And a representative of the governor, and from the joint Marj Ibn Amer municipality, represented by its director, Hilal Nassar, and from the Zababdeh municipality, represented by Monadel Sharqawi, the deputy mayor of Zababdeh, and the director of public relations, Rami Daibes. Where the delegation visited the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Abdullah Lahluh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Saleh Tawafsha, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government Dr. Tawfiq Al-Budairi, where they discussed ways of cooperation and joint coordination, as well as the efforts and preparations underway in the project of the website and phone application that aims to promote the three communities, culturally and agriculturally, emphasizing the importance of the cooperation of all parties in order to promote the tourism sector in the regions and to promote cultural heritage and agricultural tourism, the visits were conducted on Wednesday 19.01.2022.
