Caritas Jerusalem held a workshop to present the results of the “study of developing the market for vegetable agricultural products in the Bethlehem Governorate” as part of the project “Strengthening the local market through social initiatives that facilitate the right to food in Beit Jala - Al-Makhrour area on Monday, March 28, 2022, Which is implemented by Caritas Jerusalem in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture - Bethlehem Agriculture Directorate.
The aim of the workshop is to present the results of the research and the recommendations that came out of the study and to discuss them with the audience, in order to develop the market for vegetable agricultural products in the Bethlehem Governorate. The workshop was attended by representatives of the Directorate of Agriculture in Bethlehem, the Directorate of National Economy in Bethlehem, the Rural Women's Development Association, and the Bethlehem Farmers' Association, in addition to the Nahr Company for Fair Development Services represented by Mr. Issa Al-Shatla, the main consultant in the implementation of the study.
