Caritas Jerusalem launched an electronic platform and a mobile application to explore tourism, heritage, natural and agricultural qualifications

Caritas Jerusalem, in cooperation with the joint municipalities of Marj Ibn Amer, Burqin and Zababdeh, in partnership with the Ministries of Tourism, Antiquities, Culture, Agriculture, Local Government, the Environmental Quality Authority and the Committee for the Promotion and Development of Tourism in Jenin Governorate, launched an electronic platform and a mobile application to explore the tourism, heritage, natural and agricultural qualifications that these communities abound in Jenin Governorate entitled "Enjoy Jenin", the beating heart of Palestine, and it is a cultural and heritage application that works as a digital tourist information center.
The ceremony was held today, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in Haddad Tourist Village, in the presence of Major General Akram Rajoub, Governor of Jenin Governorate, directors and representatives of ministries, official and civil institutions, local tourism committees, and the revitalization committee in the governorate.
The Secretary General of Caritas Jerusalem, Sister Brigit Tighe, pointed out that the platform provides an opportunity to explore the three communities and learn about their advantages and various qualifications by presenting a selection of proposals and services that correspond to the trends and aspirations of the various categories of tourists. Emphasizing at the same time that the objective of the project came in order to improve the economic and social situation of families, especially those with limited income, and to advance the level of community development, especially economic, agricultural and tourism ones.
It is noteworthy that the platform, which was funded and implemented by Caritas Jerusalem, was conceived based on an elegant design based on the ease of obtaining tourist information, and revolves around proposals for tourism programs and packages, activities and events, novels and stories, and preferred sites to visit. The information platform will benefit the tourists and help them make the best use of their expedition. The platform and the application have been launched in both Arabic and English and can be browsed through the following link www.enjoyjenin.com
